Benicia Wellness Center’s
COVID-19 Clinic Policies
Current as of April 2023
Over the past 3 years, Benicia Wellness Center has & remains committed to keeping our patients, staff, and wider community healthy & safe from the spread of COVID-19. Fortunately, effective testing and new treatments for COVID-19 have developed rapidly, drastically reducing the threat COVID-19 poses to most people. This new reality has resulted in the state of California ending its mask mandates for healthcare workers & settings on April 3, 2023. Masking for patients and staff at Benicia Wellness Center will no longer be required as of that date.
Though masking is now optional for patients and staff at BWC, please know that our wellness team will happily accommodate patient requests for staff masking during treatment encounters. You can ask for a masked treatment encounter when you schedule your appointment or when you arrive at the office for treatment.
Benicia Wellness Center will continue our diligent adherence to sanitation best practices & other cleaning protocols that our office enacted during the pandemic. Some of our sanitation practices are detailed here.
Additionally, if you are feeling ill , have symptoms consistent with COVID-19, or have had a recent confirmed exposure to COVID-19, please do NOT come into the office. BWC will continue to waive any applicable cancellation fee in such cases.

Benicia Wellness Center’s COVID-19 Sanitation & Best Practices
Benicia Wellness Center’s core health services include hands-on treatment of individuals who require pain management solutions. Thus, our office is already well-versed in infection control methods relevant to the healthcare services we provide. However, we have implemented an arsenal of additional infection control and prevention procedures to ensure that any care you receive in our office maintains your health & safety, as well as the health & safety of our practitioners.
After the end of California’s mask mandate on April 3, 2023, Benicia Wellness Center will no longer require our patients or wellness team to don masks while in the office. However, we will continue to maintain the cleanliness of the physical office itself, ensure proper ventilation throughout all areas of the office, accommodate any patient requests for a masked treatment encounter, and adhere to other risk-reduction best practices implemented during the pandemic.
If you have any questions regarding our COVID-19 policies or procedures, please feel free to contact our office.
