Meet Daisy

Daisy Alas, CMT has been practicing massage therapy for nearly five years. After graduating from the National Holistic Institute in 2019, she has utilized every opportunity to learn a wide variety of massage modalities, including sports massage, shiatzu, Swedish, deep tissue, and prenatal massage. She has been trained extensively in Myofascial Cupping, a traditional Chinese medicine technique that allows her to manipulate the body’s fascia in different ways to break up myofascial adhesions (scar tissue) that cause pain.

She also specializes in Neuromuscular Therapy, a protocol and modality that she uses to identify and resolve her patients’ pain patterns that result from injuries or chronic pain conditions. During her Neuromuscular Therapy sessions, she conducts an extensive assessment of her patients’ pain patterns, range of motion, mechanisms of injury, and pain source(s) to help her determine which trigger points can be treated to best alleviate muscle, bone, or nerve pain.

Daisy uses her training in the latest modalities and techniques to provide her patients with the relief they need to feel themselves again. She loves how dramatically massage therapy can change a person’s mood and outlook and hopes that the healing she facilitates will have a ripple effect in her patients’ lives.

Daisy and her boyfriend, Alexis, live in Vallejo with their three cats and their Mexican rosy boa, Eclipse. Alexis likes to cook, Daisy likes to eat, and they both like to watch Anime together.
